Kenny has worked his butt off, earned the respect of everyone in the garage, and can sell anything to anybody. Who could say no to his personality? It really eats at me that we put 19-20-21 year old drivers in Cup cars way before they've even earned their ride in a Nationwide car. I realize that owners have to go where the money is, and many teams wouldn't be racing without it (hello, Paul Menard). Just a shame that the sponsors get to dictate to the owners who they put in the car. Makes me wish that I was a marketing director right now. For less than the price of one Super Bowl 30 second commercial, I could have Kenny Wallace for the whole year, face plastered all over merchandise, numerous personal appearances, wearing my logo every time he's on SPEED, and a hospitality tent every week to boot. I realize we're still talking a bit of cash, even in these tough times, but it seems that we have slightly misplaced our values. Kenny, if you see this, I've been a fan since way before the Square D days. No one is more deserving. Best of luck to you.steve_in_panoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24138427.post-15381462528152717902012-03-03T21:06:07.408-05:002012-03-03T21:06:07.408-05:00Put Johnny Benson in the car. I'm suprised he has lasted this long. Hopefully this ride can be filled by someone who can win races.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24138427.post-57951915139291953032012-03-02T18:29:10.365-05:002012-03-02T18:29:10.365-05:00Please find the $ to keep racing , last thing we n...Please find the $ to keep racing , last thing we need is another EX racer on TV trying to be funny ( MIKEY WALNUT IS PROOF OF THAT )Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24138427.post-35516571510804288852012-03-02T18:17:00.611-05:002012-03-02T18:17:00.611-05:00This guy is a class act... Just racers with heart. I'd put Skinner, Horn, Bodine, Benson Jr, and Herm in rides for as long as they wanted them. Not only would you be taking home the trophies, but the new kids could see how its really done. We need to keep these guys in the sport. NASCAR is better for having them on the track. The rookies are better for having them out there. And its just a better product. Good Luck Herm.
