It comes at the expense of the viewers/subscribers.

I truly hope that Camping World makes a statement by not renewing their title sponsorship of the truck series. While I think it will be harmful to the series it might be the wake up call Brian France and NASCAR need. This is the only things the sanctioning body understands, "Loss Of Revenue". Perhaps the France family and NASCAR will realize they will not get Title Sponsorship and Viewers when they allow their TV partners to rape those fans/viewers.

Marcus (Lemonis) understands that this will most likely translate into lower viewership and equates to reduced exposure. This is why he has made the statements he made recently about renewing sponsorship of the Truck Series.

Eventually, most likely sooner then later, I believe all racing related programming on the new "FS1" will be relegated to time slots where most of us are staring at the inside of our eyelids rather then a video screen and we will be required to carry the additional DVR package/fees to watch anything racing related.

I am dropping Speed on or before the transition date, I will miss the NASCAR programming but I will not pay for programming I do not watch when it is free (other sports). I have stopped visiting ESPN's site due to the FB only comments system, there are other alternatives out there I am sure I can find some for Speed also.Not5for48https://www.blogger.com/profile/06254476034694079622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24138427.post-86269325762858426892013-07-17T12:54:20.381-04:002013-07-17T12:54:20.381-04:00There is nothing good for the consumer in this.
