Wallace To Be Announced As KBM Truck Series Driver

Joe Gibbs Racing is expected to announce Saturday that Darrell Wallace, Jr., will run the full NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule in 2013, in a Toyota Tundra fielded by Kyle Busch Motorsports.

Wallace, a Joe Gibbs Racing developmental driver, will be reportedly announced as KBM’s latest Truck Series driver on Saturday at 10:15 AM, as part of NASCAR Preview 2013 at the Charlotte Convention Center. The team has not commented on the specifics of the announcement, but issued a statement today confirming that Wallace, JGR owner Joe Gibbs and NASCAR President Mike Helton will be present at the announcement, with team president J.D. Gibbs and Wallace meeting with the media afterward.
Wallace finished seventh in points on the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East last season, with one win, six Top-5 and seven Top-10 finishes in 14 starts, driving for JGR.
