Red Horse Racing has announced a new partnership with TBC Retail Group to display TBC's tire and automotive retail brands: Service Central, Tire Kingdom, National Tire and Battery, Merchant's Tire and Auto Centers and Big O Tires on the #17 Toyota Tundra driven by Timothy Peters for five races this season and 10 more in 2012.
Peters currently sits third in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series standings, just 14 points behind leader James Buescher. He has recorded five Top-5 finishes in his last six starts, with a win at Lucas Oil Raceway in July. He will debut the Service Central colors this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway, with additional starts at Kentucky, Talladega, Texas and Homestead-Miami Speedway.
"It has been an exceptional year for our team at Red Horse Racing," said Peters. "With the support from TBC Retail and their tire and automotive retail brands, we know we can make a legitimate run at this year's Truck Series championship. We are excited about this new partnership, not only for what it will bring in 2011 but in years to come."
"We are proud to be aligned with Red Horse Racing and to have Timothy Peters represent Service Central and our family of automotive service brands," said Orland Wolford, President and CEO of TBC Retail Group. "Motorsports fans are like no other, they actively seek out their drivers and their sponsors. It is a great venue for us to learn about their wants and needs, and for the fans to learn about Service Central and what it brings to our retail stores. We are excited about this partnership and for the rest of the season."
