Scott Starts On Nationwide Pole Tonight

Brian Scott will start on the pole for tonight’s NASCAR Nationwide Series “Virginia 529 College Savings 250” at Richmond International Raceway.

 

The Richard Childress Racing driver earned top spot with a fast lap of 21.717 seconds, at 124.327 mph; his second Nationwide Series pole in his 134th career start. Matt Kenseth will start second tonight, followed by  Austin Dillon, Brad Keselowski and championship point leader Sam Hornish, Jr.  Alex Bowman, Kyle Busch, Regan Smith, Brian Vickers and Kenny Wallace completed the Top-10.

Five drivers failed to make the field: Danny Efland, Carl Long, Morgan Shepherd, Derrike Cope and Brett Butler.
