Good News And Bad News From Pocono
It's a gray and gloomy morning at Pocono Raceway; not necessarily the start everyone was hoping for to a three-race day at the track they call the "Tricky Triangle." The good news is that the rain has stopped, track drying efforts are underway and the probability of precipitation decreases as the morning rolls on. The bad news is that the percentages don't drop much; from 60% to only 50-50. It's foggy, but then again, what else is new? It's Pocono!
Yesterday's rained out NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race will resume at 9 AM ET, with 17 of 50 laps in the record books. That will be followed by the ARCA Series event, with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series to follow. Word is that the ARCA race will be shortened, if necessary, to allow the Sprint Cup "Good Sam RV Insurance 500" to begin on time at 1 PM ET.
Keep your fingers crossed!
