Our friends at Joe Gibbs Racing got people talking
earlier today, posting this photo on their Facebook page along with the
caption, “The race shop is a busy
place this week as we prepare for Michigan!” Most notable is the car in the
center of the picture, intentionally “blurred” by JGR to hide… something!
What could it possibly
be?!? Feel free to join the tsunami of speculation…
2013 Camry or a new sponsor?
ReplyDeletecould they be building a car for 2013
ReplyDeleteMatt Kenneth's car for 2013
ReplyDeleteAppears it is silver with a couple of orange spots on the hood. Maybe new sponsor? Or a new paint sceme for Home Depot and Kenseth?
ReplyDeleteA 2013 with Kenseth's paint scheme on it?
ReplyDeletesponsor
ReplyDeleteThe thing that jumped out at me is the "chrome" rims. Hasn't that become an MWR deal? Hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteI'd guess it's a 2013 Camry.
I would say Matt Kesenths sponsor....
ReplyDeletePossibly a new sponsor that hasn't been named as of yet. Possibly for their new driver Matt Kenseth???
ReplyDeletethose wheels are white, not chrome as mentioned above. Doesn't look like a '13 body. Most of the body doesn't look painted, but that sure looks like a blue/yellow Best Buy logo on the rear - Could Kenseth even be bringing a sponsor with him to JGR?
ReplyDeleteThe more I look at it, it could be a #47 JTG car that's been stripped of its wrap, and still has the Bush's Beans logo/colors on the tail. I still say those wheels are white, but who knows. I thought JTG got their cars from MWR though..
ReplyDeleteThe lines don't match the 2013 car and I doubt they would have livery on it at this point anyway. White wheels? I would say the car hasn't been vinyl wrapped and they want to conceal something within the body work.
ReplyDeleteAJ Allmendinger's 2013 Car, JG is known for giving people second chances, Logano will be back to the Nationwide Series
ReplyDeleteSane Theory: Sponser for Hamlin #11
ReplyDeleteConspiracy Theory: The Camry has the most US made parts of any car produced in US today. Maybe they're just rubbing it in since they are in Ford and GM's back yard. or
The Dark Side car to tweak Jack Rouse in his backyard.
Robert Y
Cincinnati
It's the 55 car from MWR if you look good enough.
ReplyDeleteThats the 11 cars skid plate. His Hauler is lined up perfectly to roll of into.
ReplyDeletejust go to the shop and have a look for urselves. the catwalk for visitors completely overlooks this area.
I think they stole Jimmy Johnson's car from Martinsville.
ReplyDeletePrecipitation on the camera lens. Has to be...
ReplyDeleteRight rear looks like a gold chevy bowtie.
ReplyDeleteCrappy cameraman?
ReplyDeleteDoug from just win Kyle, NJ
Mrs. JG's car in the shop for an oil change.
ReplyDeletechrome rims hmm mwr car in jgr shop
ReplyDeleteMost likely a 47 car. JTG is doing alot of their own pieces and probably leased the car from JGR.
ReplyDeleteMy guess anyways. Does look like one of their schemes.
The JTG/MWR deal ended this season
Rear side windows look to have a center pillar...
