Allmendinger is slated to drive for James Finch’s
operation at Martinsville Speedway this Sunday, for the third week in a row
since being reinstated by NASCAR last month. He ran in the Top-10 last weekend
at Kansas Speedway before a blown right-front tire sent him into the wall and
out of the race on lap 70, relegated to a 35th-place finish. He finished 24th
at Charlotte Motor Speedway the previous week.

Tums Fast Relief 500 returns Allmendinger to Martinsville Speedway, where he secured
his best finish of the season, finishing second to Ryan Newman in April while
driving for Penske Racing.Allmendinger has three Top-10 finishes in 19 starts this season, and is currently 32nd in championship points after missing 14 races during his suspension.
