Mike Calinoff stays with Rouch Fenway in 2013 |
Calinoff has remained mum about his plans for 2013, but
Kenseth revealed this weekend that his longtime spotter will move on. Asked via
Twitter whether Calinoff will accompany him to JGR and the No. 20 Home Depot
Toyota, Kenseth replied “No, he is a great spotter, I will miss him.”
Calinoff subsequently confirmed those plans, revleaing
that he will spot for 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series champion Ricky Stenhouse,
Jr. when Stenhouse takes the wheel of Roush Fenway’s No. 17 Ford next season.
He currently serves as Stenhouse’s “eye in the sky” in Nationwide Series
competition, and also spots for youngster Nelson Piquet, Jr. on the NASCAR
Camping World Truck Series.
He had no choice...with all those "17" tats.
ReplyDeleteToo bad Stenhouse will be driving the #6 next year.
ReplyDeleteNo he will be in the #17!
DeleteYou hear how impressed He is with Ricky each week on Sirius Speedway. This had to be and I am thrilled.
ReplyDeleteHe could have stayed with Matt and just had +3 tattooed after his 17 tattoos.
