NASCAR Performance Live Broadcasts From NASCAR Hall Of Fame

"NASCAR Performance Live,” a production of the Motor Racing Network, will take its show on the road this week with a remote broadcast from the NASCAR Hall of Fame as the next class of inductees is announced.

Steve Post will anchor a special edition of NASCAR Performance Live on Wednesday from 7-8 p.m. (EDT); shortly after the Hall of Fame Class of 2013 is revealed. NASCAR Performance Live, now in its eighth year as part of the MRN lineup, provides a weekly look under the hood and behind the scenes with the crew chiefs, mechanics and engineers driving the sport. It’s available through a network of some 100 affiliate stations, SiriusXM Radio, NASCAR.com and also streamed live at MotorRacingNetwork.com.

Scheduled guests for next week’s one-hour special include veteran MRN Radio anchorman Barney Hall and Winston Kelley, Executive Director of the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

“We’ll be coming out of the All-Star Race and heading toward the Memorial Day Weekend, with the Hall of Fame announcement falling right in between,” said MRN President David Hyatt. “We’re honored to mark the occasion of another class of inductees being unveiled with a special broadcast of NASCAR Performance Live.”

The May 23 airing of NASCAR Performance Live from the Hall of Fame in uptown Charlotte, N.C., is part of Motor Racing Network’s 2012 slate that features 88 live broadcasts from 33 venues across the country. In addition to servicing a nationwide network of affiliate radio stations, all programming is streamed live at individual stations’ websites as well as www.motorracingnetwork.com – and now accessible on mobile devices.
