Limited Nationwide Schedule For Patrick In 2013?

Kelley Earnhardt Miller
JR Motorsports co-owner Kelley Earnhardt Miller said Wednesday that she has not spoken to Danica Patrick about her 2013 plans, but would be open to fielding at least a part-time Nationwide Series Chevrolet for her next season.

“I think Danica has interest in being back at JRM for a select few races next season, and we’re certainly interested in having her,” said Earnhardt, adding her schedule would almost certainly be part-time, in addition to a full slate of comnpetition with Stewart Haas Racing on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

“We’re focusing on our full-time stuff first, then we’ll turn our attention to the rest,” she said. “If everything works out, maybe we can put together Danica’s schedule with the races Dale Jr. runs. We’re still negotiating with sponsors to figure out if we’re going to be a two-car team next year, or two cars with a third part-time entry.”

Personally, I think she needs at least one more year in the nationwide series before she gets promoted to cup. One top 10 finish and a bunch of torn up race cars, she's just not ready yet.

She needs many more years! She can barely finish on the lead lap in cup. The only reason she gets a ride is because she's an anomaly. If she were a man, she'd be looking for rides just like Vickers and Herm the worm.

If I remember right, neither Jeff nor Jimmie were stellar Nationwide/ Busch Series drivers. She will do alright in my opinion.

Those are words and speculation. Based on fact and history, maybe if she were driving a go cart she would do well.

Look at the drivers she finished in front of in the last 3 races. She needs more seat time for sure, but she's the real deal.

Are you guys afraid she might win a race? It sure seems that way to me.

I don't know why you'd want to pay for more wrecked cars....however, whatever it takes to keep her out of Cup would be appreciated by the Cup Drivers.

Yeah, I agree with anonymous #2. She could race for 20 years in Nationwide, it isn't going to make a difference. She is lacking ability and will never have it. I would rather see Erin Everham back on the track, she has the skill set to be competitive. Danacant has already proven in Indy, she doesn't have it and never will. Simply look past her fuel mileage win to her statistics and they say it all.

On Wednesday's show Moody said hating on Danica has become a cottage industry, and yes there is something to that.
Here's my theory why: The resume does not match the hype.
Does anyone remember when Juan Pablo Montoya entered Cup?
JPM has as good a resume as any driver on the planet, yet I do not recall the level of hype we're seeing w/ Danica.
Am I wrong @ the level hype JPM received?

How I interpitted the remarks from KEM:
We would love to have Ms Patricks money, she is welcome anytime.

Sorry can't spell interpitted, doesn't look right no matter how hard I try.
