Less than a week after
announcing American Auto as a major sponsor of his No. 8 Silverado, the former Daytona
Beach resident announced the addition of Paytas Homes to his effort at the
World Center of Racing. “I am proud to carry the name of Paytas Homes at my
hometown track of Daytona,” said Skinner. “This has been such a cool experience
to see all of my friends come together and support my career. My friends at
Paytas Homes have the best value, reputation and quality home in the area. With
the support of great sponsors like these and a truck from ESR, hopefully we can
put on a good show.”
Paytas Homes owner Jim
Paytas is a second-generation builder and a lifelong resident of the Daytona
Beach Area. As a longtime friend of the 1995 Truck Series Champion, Paytas also
backed Skinner for two races during the 2011 season.
“Paytas Homes is excited
to support Mike Skinner and the ESR team,” said Paytas. “Our name is recognized
in the Daytona area as one of the best in the business and teaming up with
Skinner and ESR fits within our brand of striving for excellence. We certainly
expect to be running up front with considering the efforts Eddie and the team
have coordinated for this race.”
Fans in the Daytona Beach area
are invited to meet Skinner Tuesday from 2-3 p.m. EST at the Promenade Parke in
New Smyrna Beach, Fla. In addition to getting an autograph and photo with
Skinner, fans will be able to register to win a pair of tickets to Friday night’s
NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway. The event will
take place at a Paytas Homes-built community and model center at 554 Luna Bella
Lane, New Smyrna Beach. The winner of the NextEra Energy Resources 250 tickets
must be present to claim their prize.
I hope The Gunslinger can put some more help together for more races. Gonna be good to see him out on the track!!!!
