Starr and Arrington join forces. |
David Starr has a new ride for the 2012 NASCAR Camping World
Truck Series season. Zachry Holdings, Inc. will again sponsor Starr in a full-time
for the Truck Series championship effort, driving the No. 81 Zachry Toyota
Tundra for the newly formed Arrington Racing.
The team is owned by longtime NASCAR engine builder Joey Arrington
and will operate under the direction of crew chief Doug Howe, car chief Mike
Davis and general manager Tom Davis. Together, Starr and Zachry achieved
success on the track in 2011 with two top-five finishes and eight top-ten
finishes.
“I am honored and blessed to represent such a great company as
Zachry both on and off the track,” said Starr. “I can’t even explain how
excited and enthusiastic I am to unite with Arrington Racing and Zachry this
season.” Other sponsors include Build Your Future, Linda Rudd and Steve Hellmuth
with Striping Technologies, Jordan Truck Sales, Chasco Constructors, Allegro
Marinades, fentonmotors.com and Aubrey Health Mart Pharmacy.
Arrington Racing will operate out of a state-of-the-art facility
in Mooresville, NC.
good to hear!
ReplyDeleteDavid is a fine gentleman. We sat with him on the plane on the way to Daytona last year. He took time to walk with us to the luggage carousel, wait for our bags, then show us the way to the car rental counter, chatting about racing the whole time.
Good Luck this year David, we will be in Daytona again, will look for you!
