Gordon Unveils Turtle Scheme, Promises Break Dance In Victory Lane

TURTLE POWER!
Jeff Gordon kicked off this weekend’s Food Lion AutoFair by revealing a special Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles paint scheme that the No. 24 Drive to End Hunger Chevrolet will carry in the Oct. 13 Bank of America 500.

The scheme features Leonardo, the unofficial leader of the heroes in a half shell, and Gordon’s young son, Leo, was on hand to help Dad and the turtles with the reveal.
“To have a cool car like this, I know the kids are going to be excited about it,” said Gordon. “They love Nickelodeon, my kids, that’s all we DVR, that’s all we watch is Nickelodeon programming and I know they’re going to big fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The kids love racing and they love the paint schemes. As a parent now, these types of moments are very special.”
Having apparently not learned his lesson after promising to grow a mustache if he qualified for the 2012 Chase for the NSCAR Sprint Cup, Gordon went out on a limb again today, vowing that if he wins the Bank of America 500 in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles paint scheme, he will breakdance in Victory Lane at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will present the Bank of America 500 pre-race show with concerts by Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice and Grammy nominated duo Big & Rich, plus a daredevil stunt by world-famous tightrope walker Nik Wallenda. There will be special Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles activities, appearances and family fun throughout the race weekend. Tickets for children age 13 and under start at $10 for the Bank of America 500. Fans can purchase two frontstretch tickets for just $99.
