The new partner will
also appear as primary sponsor of the No. 26 Ford at Auto Club Speedway, Infineon
Raceway, Chicagoland Speedway and Phoenix International Raceway. 1-800LoanMart
will also be an associate sponsor on Front Row Motorsports' No. 38 Ford, driven
by David Gilliland on those same five race weekends.
"This is a great
company to come on board with our race team," said team owner Bob Jenkins.
"As a businessman and entrepreneur myself, I can appreciate how they've
built their business and their commitment to great customer service. And I think
they're going to really hit on a great audience among NASCAR fans."
The Encino, Calif.-based
lender, which launched in 2001, specializes in car title loans, serving
customers in California, Arizona, New Mexico,
Utah, Illinois, and Missouri. Similar to Jenkins' race team, the company
started small, growing from 40 employees in 2008 to more than 200 today.
"We see a lot of similarities between 1-800LoanMart and Front Row Motorsports, so this is a perfect partnership," said Colby Estes, Director of Marketing for 1-800LoanMart. "We both started as a simple entrepreneurial idea and grew into successful businesses in an economic time when that's not so easy.
"We now have more than 200 team members who help thousands of people a month get the financial help that might otherwise be unavailable. In helping to support Josh and his rookie-season effort, we see a similar opportunity to help someone who is deserving, but otherwise might not have gotten a chance."
Wise is currently leading the 2012 Sunoco Rookie of the Year standings in the Sprint Cup Series.
