After
several busy months of construction related to its $400 million DAYTONA Rising
project, Daytona International Speedway is now shifting gears to prepare for
the upcoming Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola. Fans attending the event will
have an opportunity to preview some of the new amenities being created by
historic renovation project.
Approximately
40,000 new seats will be available near the west end of the Speedway along with
10,000 seats near the east end. Fans can also access new concessions and
restrooms, escalators and vertical transportation options and several new
“neighborhood” areas.
Construction
will accelerate again following the Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca-Cola.
Upcoming projects include final installation of elevators and escalators, completion
of east-end seating areas and installation of temporary infrastructure.
