TNT Set For 2012 Sprint Cup Debut

Adam Alexander expands his role in 2012
Turner Sports assumes the helm of NASCAR’s television ship this weekend, beginning a six-race, midseason stretch that carries through the New Hampshire Motor Speedway race on July 16.
The network returns analysis Kyle Petty and Wally Dallenbach to the anchor booth, with former MRN Radio pit report and SPEED Report anchorman Adam Alexander providing the play-by-play. Alexander, Petty and former crew chief Larry McReynolds will handle TNT’s pre-race show. Veterans Ralph Sheheen, Marty Snider, Matt Yocum and Chris Neville will cover pit road.
TNT will also produce a weekly "NASCAR Generations" segment during its “Countdown to Green” pre-race show, featuring panel discussions hosted by Alexander and a roster of guests that includes five-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson, legendary NASCAR champions Ned Jarrett and Bill Elliott, as well as McReynolds and Petty.
