BK Racing Partners With Rock Band 311

Multi-platinum rock band 311 will serve as an official media partner of the BK Racing organization for the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.

Throughout the 38-race schedule, BK Racing and 311 will work together to bring a new experience to both the NASCAR community and 311 fans through social media Q&A's, giveaways and photo sharing.

311 bandmates Tim Mahoney and Chad Sexton are avid NASCAR enthusiasts and the whole band is excited to be part of the BK team and the NASCAR community. The 311 logo will appear on all BK Racing cars (No. 23, 26, 83 and 93) throughout the season, with full-time drivers JJ Yeley (No. 23) and Jeb Burton (No. 26).

NASCAR fans that follow and mention both @311 and @BKRacing_2383 on Twitter or Facebook will be eligible to win 311 gear and VIP NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Hot Passes throughout the 2015 season.

"I have always been a fan of 311's music and live performances," said BK Racing co-owner Anthony Marlowe. "With NASCAR and 311 both having very loyal fan-bases, the digital media partnership is a great fit."

Driver JJ Yeley commented, "I have been a fan of 311 and their music for quite some time now. It is pretty awesome to be given the opportunity to partner together throughout the 2015 season. I think the NASCAR fans will really enjoy the fun new giveaways and social media engagement we have planned for 2015."

The band will celebrate its 25th Anniversary this summer. As part of that celebration, 311 will host their semi-annual 311 Caribbean Cruise from Miami to Jamaica later this month, and tour throughout the U.S. with various shows & festivals from April through August. 311 has sold over nine million albums and DVD's in the U.S., with nine consecutive albums reaching the Top 10 on Billboard's U.S. Top 200 Sales Chart.

They have had nine singles reach the Top 10 on Billboard's U.S. Alternative Radio Chart, including the No. 1 singles Down, Love Song, Don't Tread On Me, Amber, All Mixed Up, Come Original, Creatures (For A While), Hey You and Sunset in July.

311's Chad Sexton said, "I've been a big fan of NASCAR over the years and have great respect for the sport, the drivers and the massive fan community behind it all. I think rock and racing is a great combo - and it's really exciting for us to partner with BK Racing this season."
