Two national brands announced today that they will join
Richard Petty Motorsports, Sam Hornish, Jr. and the No. 9 Ford Performance team
for the Daytona 500. Nature Blast and SafeZorb will serve as associate sponsors
on the No. 9 and support Hornish as he looks to become only the third driver to
win both the Indianapolis 500 and the Daytona 500.
The Nature Blast line of cleaning supplies includes more than five
different products for home and professional use; all made in America and committed
to protecting the planet.
"The Petty family, Sam and Nature Blast all believe in family
values," commented Daniella Perkins, vice president product development,
Nature Blast, Inc. "It's natural for our company to partner with the No. 9
team at the 'Great American Race' in Daytona and be a part of potential history
with Sam. It's a great way for us to spread our message about our cleaning
products."
SafeZorb is an
all-purpose absorbent made with a high quality blend of minerals that will
absorb any hydrocarbon, petro-chemical or hazardous material except
hydrofluoric acid. The product is also hydrophilic and does not break down in
water or aqueous solvents or lubricants.
SafeZorb is easy to use, environmentally friendly and safe for both humans and animals. It is an all-natural, green solution that enhances safety in the workplace and is not hazardous to the environment. This will be their first time in the Daytona 500.

"When you have an opportunity to partner with Petty at
Daytona, you take it," said Scott Sherrill, vice president of StormZorb.
"We have a product that is used within motorsports and helps teams be
environmentally friendly at the track. It's a winning combination and nobody
has won more at Daytona than Petty. We just want to help Sam and the No. 9 team
continue the tradition."
Hornish will be making his RPM debut at the Daytona 500. The
winner of the 2006 Indianapolis 500, he is looking to join legends A.J.
Foyt and Mario Andretti as the only two drivers to have won America's most
popular auto racing events.
