Nationwide Insurance
unveiled Dale Earnhardt, Jr.’s 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car today,
complete with a new, Nationwide-blue livery.
Nationwide has served
as entitlement sponsor of the NASCAR Nationwide Series for the past seven years,
but will step away from that role next season to concentrate on individual
driver, team and event sponsorships. They will effectively replace the National
Guard as sponsors of NASCAR’s most popular driver next season, with Earnhardt debuting the
new look this weekend at Richmond International Raceway.
Nationwide
Insurance will also back drivers Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in more
limited engagements next season.
That's a good deal for jr.
ReplyDeleteI hope they will work on the number color. I was at Bristol and Jr.'s car was very difficult to pick out. It was easier after he had the left side torn off and they used orange tape to make an outline of the '88'.
ReplyDeleteso i guess we will not be seeing him in a state farm commercial ? LOL i dont care what the car looks like at the end , just keep on winning !!!!!
ReplyDeleteA rather uninspiring paint scheme. Bummer.
ReplyDeleteIf the people paying for it like it and want it, Dale likes it and so does Rick Hendrick (a.k.a. Hendrix). As for our opinion, I guess we are SOL. Look, they even put Nationwide on his side. I think part of the problem is that the sponsors want it to look like their everyday logo which I can understand. Now look at it in a different way...Dupont didn't think that when they paired up with Jeff Gordon. Maybe a few sponsors need to take a closer look at that. Personally, maybe some bright red 88 numbers are needed, then you have red, white, and blue...take it from there.
