Goldberg To Serve As Pre-Race Host At Bristol

Former pro wrestler-turned television host Bill Goldberg will serve as the pre-race host for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway on April 19.

The former wrestler, NFL football player, TV host and automobile aficionado will emcee Bristol’s unique driver introductions, where each driver selects a song to be played during their pre-race introduction.

“NASCAR is near and dear to my heart,” said Goldberg. “Bristol is like no other track on the planet and the driver introductions are a special treat for the fans. I plan to pump up the party and have some fun with the drivers

“Our guests enjoy the energy and originality that the drivers bring to our pre-race.” said Bristol Motor Speedway executive vice president and general manager Jerry Caldwell. “Adding Bill Goldberg’s high-energy and fiery personality into the mix will make this a must-see show.”

Goldberg and Roush Fenway Racing driver Greg Biffle will also appear at The Edge, BMS’ new, premium fan experience. Fans can add this transferrable option – which also includes a scanner, $25 concession credit and a pre-race track walk – for just $150 for the Food City 500.
