Keeping your heart rate at 150 bpm for 3 hours would kill someone who is not an athlete. In addition, the mental focus has to remain razor sharp that entire time in a sport where a few degrees of steering input or a few tenths of a second delayed reaction can literally mean life or death (as we are quickly reminded if we forget). There are few athletes anywhere that have to maintain that level of physical and mental endurance. Anyone that doubts that is simply ignorant, and if they choose not to become informed about the truth after they have spoken then they prove themselves a fool.JR
