Coulter Will Not Run NCWTS In 2015, New Role Announced With GMS Motorsports

Florida native Joey Coulter will not return to the cockpit of the No. 21 GMS Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado this season, instead assuming the post of Team Relationships Coordinator for the team.
“I am excited to continue my relationship with GMS Racing,” said Coulter this week. “Unfortunately, due to a lack of sponsorship, I will not be in a truck this season. Taking on a new position with GMS allows me to continue my involvement in the racing community and also stay involved as a driver with my family’s dirt racing program. So I get the best of both worlds.”
After relocating to the former Evernham/Richard Petty Motorsports building in Statesville, NC, GMS Racing continues to plan for the 2015 season, with additional announcements surrounding driver, sponsor and team lineups still to come. The first event of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Daytona International Speedway is just 43 days away.

  1. That's unfortunate. Joey is very talented and deserves a good ride where he can contend for wins every week.

  2. Forgetting talent for the moment, with his looks, sponsors should be champing at the bit to find a ride for him.

    1. Perhaps you should re-read the headline on that earlier post. Most notably the part that says "Money Matters..." SMH

Why must you always be hateful towards the people that visit and participate in your site?

    3. Not that Moody needs help in defending his position, but what part of this do you find hateful?

On an unrelated note, there oughta be a law (rule) that requires all participants to sign in other than anonymously so we can track who's saying what to whom. Dave, just sayin'.

  4. I think if Nascar would stop getting the sponsors there would be much more money for teams and like the #21 teams there may have been 2 teams next season.
