Labonte was transported to the hospital by ambulance where he was
diagnosed and is being treated for three broken ribs. There are no other
injuries. He is being held overnight for observation.
No further update on Labonte's condition is available, Mike Bliss
will replace him in the No. 51 Phoenix Racing entry this weekend in Atlanta.
So sorry, Bobby. Idiot driver was probably on the phone! Hope you heal quickly.
ReplyDeleteIdiot driver? There has been no indication of a motor vehicle being involved.
DeleteAt least they didn't blame Danica Dave.
DeleteJust another reason why people need to read the article BEFORE casting judgement.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that and I hope Bobby heals quickly and completely. The timing is ironic Moody, following your comment regarding Tony Stewart's injury; (paraphrased) .... you can get hurt in a Sprint Cup car and you can get hurt riding your bike. Sometimes there's more truth than poetry on Sirius Speedway. Let's all be careful out there and keep Bobby in our thoughts.
ReplyDeleteSpeedy recovery Champ!
ReplyDeleteFor all we know he could have hit a pot hole and launched himself over the handle bars. It happens all the time. In fact it just happened last week to our anchor man for our local new channel while he was doing a broadcast.
ReplyDeleteI'll be surprised if he doesn't miss more than Atlanta. 3 broken ribs in a full containment seat? Ow
