Evernham Supports Troops Through "The Boot Campaign"

At Dover International Speedway Saturday, ESPN Analyst Ray Evernham announced plans to help raise awareness of the issues facing U.S. troops and support their transition home through the non-profit “The Boot Campaign.”

Evernham joins Troy Aikman, Kasey Kahne, Dolly Parton, Dewayne “The Rock” Johnson and others in lacing up a pair of combat boots with the Texas-based non-profit organization. Evernham’s official Boot Campaign photo will be featured beginning today at www.BootCampaign.com, and his support will be announced on the Boot Campaign’s social media pages; Facebook.com/bootcampaign and Twitter.com/bootcampaign.

The Boot Campaign is a 501c3 non-profit military appreciation and veteran awareness campaign, based in Texas. Launched in 2009 by a group of women known as The Boot Girls, the Boot Campaign’s mission is to express gratitude to the troops, spread awareness of the needs of military personnel and support their transition home. Through the sale of signature military combat boots, the Boot Campaign donates proceeds to our programs caring for military personnel, past and present, healing from a variety of physical and emotional combat wounds, embodying the campaign’s motto; “When They Come Back, We Give Back.”
