Skinner To Drive For Hamilton Means Racing

Former NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Mike Skinner will drive the No. 52 Hamilton Means Racing Toyota in the Bojangles' Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway May 12, and for the remainder of the 2012 Sprint Cup Series season.

"We are incredibility excited to have Mike come on board,” said HMR team principal Kelly Owen today. “He will certainly bring a great deal of knowledge and wisdom to our team's efforts for the remainder of the season. Best of all, he brings stability so we can make our plans, knowing that we have a commitment from an experienced driver that can get the job done."
The No. 52 Toyota will be sponsored at Darlington by Crusader's Staffing

Love to see good things happen to good people. Rather than sulk last year Mike went out and practiced, qualified, and parked his car as he was told to do. That willingness to do whatever he needed to do and not complain, has got him a ride today.

    Congrats to the Gunslinger!
