Brad Keselowski was a little twisted-up after narrowly
avoiding Jeff Gordon’s takeout of rival Clint Bowyer late in Sunday’s race at
Phoenix International Raceway. His blood pressure rose even higher on the final
lap, when he and a number of others crashed in Danica Patrick’s oil. After
being criticized for aggressive driving a week ago at Texas Motor Speedway, the
new NASCAR Sprint Cup Series point leader unloaded in his post-race press
conference.
Like him or not, Keselowski calls them like he sees them.
He's got a good point.
ReplyDeleteWell.....
ReplyDeleteHe's right, there was a double standard.
And by the way, can you believe all the drama (as Chocolate likes to say) going on? Love it all!
After having time to cool down once the race ended and he still uses the language he chose to use.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fine ambassador for the sport Keselowski will make if he wins the title.

Specifically which drivers criticized BK for his driving at Texas? If Jimmy Johnson didn't have an issue with it, and he didn't that I'm aware of,then why would anyone complain. I'm with Brad, last week was hard racing..., this week was slightly more than that
ReplyDeleteI believe Jeff Burton is the one that made the kill himself remark.
DeleteIt was Tony Stewart complaining that Brad has a "death wish" for the way he was driving, seemed to me a lot like how Tony was driving last year to win the championship. Typical dbl standard from those guys...can't wait til they crown the Blue Deuce and all those BK haters will have to deal with it for an entire year! GO BRAD!!!!!
DeleteI agree with brad,he is not vanilla,he is a young, hard charger,he is what will, and has, brought new fans to our sport.I believe after today's race with ALL that happened, more fans are on board, and will watch.Dave, you have enough material from today to last thru the winter.
ReplyDeleteQuickly becoming more and more a fan of BK.
