NASCAR Drivers Turn Driving Instructors On GMA

On ABC’s “Good Morning America” this Saturday, NASCAR drivers Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards will attempt to teach the show’s co-anchors how to drive a stock car.

In a segment taped prior to Ford Championship Weekend, Biffle teamed up with Dan Harris, while Edwards coached Bianna Golodryga. The Roush Fenway teammates took on Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Joey Logano and Darrell Wallace Jr., to see whose anchors made the best stock car driver. They took their respective anchors for a few laps around Charlotte Motor Speedway to show them the way around the 1.5-mile track.
“Dan was a pretty brave passenger,” said Biffle. “The track was a little on the damp side, so I couldn’t go really fast, but Dan seemed to think it was fast anyway. One of the girls hadn’t driven a car in seven years living in New York City, so I think Dan stands a good chance.”
Be sure to watch “Good Morning America” Saturday to see which coach turned out the best student.
