Godfather Motorsports Unveils Trinity Oaks Ford

Tyler Dippel and the Trinity Oaks Ford
Godfather Motorsports and driver Tyler Dippel unveiled their new, No. 1 Ford Super Late Model today on the campus of Trinity Oaks Senior Living Community in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Even Mother Nature was a race fan on this day, pausing a weeklong deluge of heavy rain long enough for Trinity Oaks Administrator Bill Johnson and Marketing Director Ann Pressly to pull back the covers and reveal a shining black Ford Fusion Super Late Model, adorned with the Trinity Oaks logo and motto; “Never Slow Down.”

Teenage driver Tyler Dippel, who will travel from his home in Wallkill, NY, to race in a number of Pro All Stars Series events in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia this season, mingled with a large crowd of Trinity Oaks residents and staff before firing up the car’s 600-horsepower racing engine and rattling the windows of the facility.

“We had a wonderful day,” said Godfather Motorsports owner Dave Moody afterward. “I was impressed with the number of residents who knew about and were interested in motorsports. I answered a lot of NASCAR questions today, and I have a feeling we’re going to see a number of residents and staff members at the speedways this summer.”

“I had a lot of fun,” agreed Dippel. “Everyone was really interested in the race car, and one lady asked me to give her a ride around the parking lot. It was like having 50 grandmas and grandpas, all at the same time!”

Hey Dave, congrats on being an owner (no snark involved, I mean it). Are you going to eventually move up the food chain and become an owner in some capacity in trucks or even Nationwide, or is that going to involve too much time and money?
