Rodney Brooks and the Trinity Oaks Senior Living/KOMA Unwind Ford return to
action Saturday night in the “Wildcat 150” Pro All Stars Series event at Dillon
(SC) Motor Speedway.

off their second consecutive Top-8 finish two weeks ago at Hickory Motor
Speedway, Brooks says he and the Godfather Motorsports team are “getting
greedy” this weekend, with an eye on their best finish of the 2013 season. “We’ve
gotten things turned around with a pair of good finishes in our last two
starts, and it feels good to run as competitively we know we’re capable of
running,” he said. “Those Top-10 finishes have been great, but we’re hungry for
more. Crew chief Jim Gallison, Jr. and the team have gone through the car from
bumper to bumper since the checkered flag flew at Hickory and I think we’re
ready to crack the Top-5 Saturday night at Dillon.”
Brooks
called the 4/10-mile oval “my kind of race track,” saying its 14-degree banking
and fast speeds make it a perfect blend of short track and speedway racing.
Joining
the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models on Saturday night’s five-division race
card will be the PASS Pro Late Models, along with the local Charger, Street Stock and Legends Car divisions. Gates open Saturday at 11 AM, with practice
for all divisions beginning at 1 PM. Time trial qualifying is scheduled for 4
PM, with the first feature race taking the green flag at 6 PM! Grandstand
