Cessna Aircraft To Back McMurray For 10 Races

JMac has a new look for 2013
Chip Ganassi Racing has announced a multi-year partnership with Cessna Aircraft Company to sponsor cars across all three series in which the team competes. The world's leading general aviation company will sponsor a total of 10 races on the No. 1 Chevy SS of Jamie McMurray in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, sharing assets with Bell Helicopter and E-Z-GO Golf Carts.

A statement from the team said the new partnership “offers a new connection to an industry that relies heavily on private aircraft travel.” In addition to the sponsorship, all three brands will have placement on the team’s race cars, driver uniforms and transporters, across all of Ganassi’s NASCAR Sprint Cup, IZOD Indy Car Series and GRAND AM Rolex Sports Car Series entries.
McMurray and Juan Pablo Montoya will continue to headline Ganassi’s NASCAR effort, along with IZOD IndyCar Series drivers Dario Franchitti, Scott Dixon and Charlie Kimball and GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series drivers Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas.
McDonald's and Dr. Pepper will be featured on McMurray's Chevy in a limited schedule of events this season, and Bass Pro Shops will back two races, in addition to its full-time support of Tony Stewart’s Stewart Haas Racing Chevrolet.
Today’s announcement leaves McMurray unsponsored in just four races this season.
