Steady rain forced
cancellation of the opening day of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Gen-6 testing at
Charlotte Motor Speedway today. Testing is scheduled to resume at 9 a.m.
Friday. Drivers will be on track from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. EST, and from 1
until 5 p.m.
The expanded schedule
for tomorrow is as follows:
7:30 a.m. Garage Opens
8:30 a.m. Media Center Opens
9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. On-Track Testing
12:30 to 1 p.m. Lunch Break
12:35 p.m. Jeff Burton (Media Center)
12:45 p.m. Martin Truex Jr./Greg Biffle (Media Center)
1 p.m. to 5 p.m. On-Track Testing
5 p.m. Robin Pemberton, VP of Competition/John Darby, Director of Sprint Cup Series (Media Center)
6 p.m. Garage/Media Center Closes
8:30 a.m. Media Center Opens
9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. On-Track Testing
