Kyle Cops Darlington Nationwide Pole

Kyle Busch will start on the pole for tonight’s NASCAR Nationwide Series “VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200” at Darlington Raceway, after posting a fast time of  28.494 seconds, at 172.583 mph. 

The pole was the 29th of Busch’s 252-race Nationwide Series career and his third of 2013. Busch has won both of the races he started from the pole this season, and has claimed a total of 13 Nationwide races from the inside of the front row, most of all drivers. 

Elliott Sadler will start second tonight, followed by Matt Kenseth, Brian Vickers and Justin Allgaier. Kasey Kahne, rookie Kyle Larson, Austin Dillon, Sam Hornish, Jr., and Trevor Bayne completed the Top-10. Point leader Regan Smith will start eleventh. A total of 42 drivers attempted to qualify for tonight’s race, Jason Bowles and Derrike Cope failed to make the field.
