Junior lights `em up! |
Surrounded by the sound of screeching tires
and the sight of custom orange smoke, Dale Earnhardt Jr. celebrated the return
of AMP Energy Orange with a signature racing tradition: the burnout. Earnhardt
took to Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip to teach fellow AMP Energy
athletes, professional MMA fighter Urijah Faber and Olympic snowboarder Scotty
Lago, how to perform the ultimate burnout and make some noise that ‘Orange is
Back.’
“There is no better way to celebrate that
my favorite flavor of AMP Energy – AMP Energy Orange – is back than with the
ultimate orange burnout,” said Earnhardt, driver of the No. 88 AMP Energy
Orange Chevrolet SS. “I’m excited to team up with my fellow AMP Energy athletes
Urijah Faber and Scotty Lago and teach them how we celebrate in racing with the
ultimate burnout here on the Las Vegas Strip.”
After a brief hiatus from shelves, AMP
Energy Orange returns not only as Earnhardt’s favorite flavor, but the number-one
flavor requested by AMP Energy Facebook fans.
“AMP Energy Orange is a fan favorite and
we’re committed to giving our consumers what they want to help meet their
energy needs, so we are incredibly excited to bring Orange back to our flavor
line-up,” said Greg Lyons, VP Marketing, AMP Energy. “We couldn’t think of a
more appropriate way to celebrate the return of AMP Energy Orange than by
having Dale Jr. – one of the flavor’s biggest fans – do an eye-catching,
first-of-its-kind orange burnout on The Strip.”
Earnhardt will hit the track with a special
AMP Energy Orange paint scheme for Sunday’s race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway,
and AMP Energy will also have a number of show cars on display at multiple
locations around Las Vegas over the weekend.
