“We at NASCAR.com acknowledge the continuing access and performance issues
associated with RaceView Premium for PC and RaceView Audio for PC,” said the
email. “Prior to the Daytona 500, we attempted to implement several technical
solutions in order to provide a working product. While many subscribers were
able to successfully enjoy RaceView during the race, we understand there were
many who continued to have problems.
“NASCAR.com is not satisfied with RaceView at this point in time. We are
examining the entire process and technical operation, and plan to communicate
additional information on RaceView as we
head into Sunday's Sprint Cup Race at Phoenix.
"We regret if these issues impacted your enjoyment of the Daytona 500 and
are working hard to make sure all Raceview Premium and Raceview Audio for PC technical
issues are worked out. If you have any questions about your subscription or
need assistance, please visit our customer support center.
"Thank you for your patience."
It's not on the nascar mobile 13
ReplyDeleteapp either and its supposed to have video and gauges. glad I'm a sprint customer and didn't pay for something nascar can't deliver.
Dave, I find the entire nascar.com site practically unusable. I thought that once Turner was done, we would have a real website. guess not
ReplyDeleteI absoluitely hate the new NASCAR.com website. In fact, I have taken it off my computer and smartphone. There is an old saying:"If it aint broke, don't fix it." I have heard a lot of people say they don't like it either. Go back to the old one, please.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with the fact that the new NASCAR.com is useless at the moment...
ReplyDeleteI wan't planning on using RaceView, but I was disappointed that I couldn't startup the Fantasy Racing.
ReplyDeleteThe new website is a mess. Slow to load and it seems like there is less content. The scanner issue was another disaster. Wouldn't you test it out better before releasing to use for the Daytona 500?
ReplyDeleteI also agree that the entire NASCAR website is useless. You can't find anything and I like to print the weekend schedule, but you can't do that. What a mess!
ReplyDeleteThe website is horrible and so is the app. I wasted 30 bucks on that mess.
ReplyDeleteNascar.com is a mess right now. I know it's a new look and there will be a few glitches here and there. but its beyond that. The layout is terrible at best and like everyone else is saying..slow loading on my broadband Internet connection using a 2.8 gig processor with 2 gigs of ram..the site is sluggish at best!
ReplyDeleteRaceview was no better this week (week 2). Maybe they should find a 5th grader that knows how to write a website. There is not much of an excuses for such a poor start. Obviously they did not test the site very well or understand technology.
ReplyDeleteComplete waste of money.Still no access week 2
ReplyDeleteI couldn't access the Audio yesterday. Tried and tried. Probably spent half the race troubleshooting. Gave up so I could at least watch the end.
ReplyDeleteThe 2013 version of NASCAR.com is even worse than the 2012 version. I've gone from visiting NASCAR.com nearly every day to hardly at all. NASCAR should fine itself for "actions detrimental to NASCAR".
ReplyDeleteLas Vegas Nationwide is on and the stupid Audio is still not working. What is wrong with these people? NASCAR.com used to be such a cool website. What did they do, turn it over to a high school computer class? FIX IT, PLEASE
ReplyDeleteLast August I paid $29.95 for scanner. Received email no charge for 2013. Worked for Daytona because Raceview Premium free. Tried to launch Raceview Audio for Phoenix and Las Vegas and it would not work. Set emails and phone calls to Tech Support. No response. Out of curiosity upgraded to Raceview Premium and Raceview Audio worked except for buffering virtual video of cars on track. Called Tech Support today 3/12 and no help received. Will try this weekend and if I still cannot launch Raceview Audio only I am going to cancel everything and ask for my $29.95 paid in August 2012 to be refunded. This is a mess and they are overwhelmed and not capable of solving many, many fans' issues with their new product. Recommend no one buy this product at this point in time.
ReplyDeleteBarbara Newman
Barbara: same problems exactly. Tech services has been helpful, but my problem is still not resolved.
ReplyDeleteSeven races now I still have not gotten the audio. Tech can not fix it or tell me why. If NASCAR was truly fan friendly they would have resolved this problem after Daytona.
ReplyDeleteGlad to find out that it's not just me. I thought I must be an idiot. It is hard to believe that NASCAR with all of its issues losing fans in the past few years would allow this to continue week after week.
ReplyDeleteNascar.com is a worthless mess..removed it and don't even bother with it...useless
ReplyDeleteBeen a Nascar fan since the late 50's,, no more they can not even run a web site, let alone a racing org. All they know how to do now is fine their own and make more money,, it will not last much longer with this attitude...
ReplyDeleteNice of them to offer free raceview today. To bad all you can see are the gauges working. No audio, no video. I feel sorry for you that pay for it. I'll no doubt NOT be subscribing to it.
