Earnhardt Signs Richmond Sponsor

JR Motorsports announced today a one-race sponsorship agreement with CorvetteParts.net for Jeffrey Earnhardt’s No. 5 Chevrolet in the April 26 race at Richmond International Raceway.

CorvetteParts.net is a subset of Keen Parts Inc., a leading supplier of Corvette restoration parts. JR Motorsports announced on April 4 that Jeffrey Earnhardt, the 23-year-old nephew of team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr., would fill the seat of the No. 5 Chevrolet at Richmond.
“We’re extremely happy that CorvetteParts.net has signed on for our Richmond weekend,” said general manager Kelley Earnhardt Miller. “Given that Jeffrey is a fourth-generation Earnhardt and driving for JR Motorsports for the first time, there will be a lot of attention centered around our No. 5 team that weekend. We hope to take advantage of that and make it a big opportunity for CorvetteParts.net as well.”
JR Motorsports announced an associate partnership with Keen Parts Inc. earlier this year. Owned by Tom and Teresa Keen and based out of Cleves, Ohio, Keen Parts specializes in Corvette restoration parts ranging from vintage 1953 models to customized accessories for today’s Corvettes. The company’s current inventory boasts more than 18,000 parts and accessories.
“We join Earnhardt fans all over the country in sharing our excitement in this opportunity for Jeffrey,” said Tom Keen. “Not only is it a unique opportunity for him to show what he’s got as a race car driver, but it’s an opportunity for CorvetteParts.net to drive awareness about our inventory of Corvette parts and accessories. Together we can make it a special weekend for both of us.”
